This is where Rev Gurudeo Ranade's mother Matoshri Parvatidevi offered her daily Puja and prayers according to Hindu tradition. Rev Gurudeo Ranade had installed Maruti idol in the niche of Vrindavan, which is seen in this picture.

REV GURUDEO'S EASY CHAIR

Rev Gurudeo joined Allahabad University as a Professor of Philosophy in 1928 and retired as Vice Chancellor of University in 1946. During his stay at Allahabad, he used the easy chair shown in this picture. Rev Gurudeo used to sit in this chair and assess the answer books of students.
